Janis McAdoo, Texas Web Designer

A website shouldn’t feel like another overwhelming project on your to-do list. It should feel clear, doable, and worth your time.

I help faith-driven, non-techy women and small business owners bring their vision to life with a focused, one-week website process.

What Matters Most to Me

I believe in showing up with integrity, clarity, and consistency, and treating every client with the same care I would want for my own business. You’ll never be left wondering where things stand or what’s coming next.

I love helping people who are doing meaningful work feel confident showing up online, without embarrassment, confusion, or second-guessing.

I especially enjoy working with faith-driven women and small business owners who care deeply about their message and the people they serve.

How I Got Here

Before I started Rocksteady Marketing, I was a burned-out office manager wearing all the hats in a small business and trying to keep everything running smoothly. I knew what it felt like to be responsible for “all the things” without enough time, support, or clear systems.

In 2014, a friend mentioned she needed a virtual assistant, and that simple post sparked a new direction for me. I began learning from Susan Mershon, The Techie Mentor, about WordPress, digital marketing, and online systems so I could build a career that truly supported small business owners.

Over time, I became known for being dependable, organized, and deeply invested in my clients’ success. I built long-term relationships and developed a focused process that makes website projects clear and manageable.

Today, I help faith-driven, non-techy women and small business owners bring their vision to life through a guided, one-week website experience, here in Sulphur Springs and in my old stomping grounds across the DFW Metroplex.

What I Believe About This Work

I believe in showing up with integrity, clarity, and consistency, and doing exactly what I say I will do. My clients trust me with something important, and I take that responsibility seriously.

I believe simple is better than complicated. Technology should support your work, not drain your energy or distract you from what matters most.

I believe relationships matter more than transactions. That’s why many of my clients stay with me for years, not just for one project.

I believe faith, honesty, and kindness belong in business. You will always be treated with respect, patience, and genuine care.

And I believe every business owner deserves a website they feel confident sharing, because confidence changes how you show up in the world.

Texas Web Designer with Experience You Can Trust

I’ve been helping solopreneurs and small business owners with their websites and online systems for more than ten years. During that time, I’ve worked with authors, speakers, coaches, and service providers who simply wanted things to work without all the confusion.

I’ve trained in WordPress, digital marketing, and online tools, and I’m always learning because technology never stands still. My goal is to make sure my clients don’t have to keep up with every change on their own.

In 2020, I completed Funnel Gorgeous’s Triple Threat certification in strategy, copy, and design, which strengthened the way I approach building websites that support real business goals.
Many of my clients come through referrals and stay with me for years. That kind of trust means everything to me.
